Admission Campaign 2025
The Institute of Telecommunications and Global Information Space of the NAS of Ukraine invites applications for the PhD program (Doctor of Philosophy) in the following specialties:
- F1 — Applied Mathematics (field of knowledge 11 “Mathematics and Statistics”)
- F3 — Computer Science (field of knowledge 12 “Information Technologies”)
Mode of Study: full-time, part-time
Duration: 4 years
Funding: full-time admission is exclusively through state order; part-time — through state order (if available) or self-funded
Eligibility
Applicants must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification. Applicants from a different field of knowledge than indicated in their diploma may be required to pass additional entrance examinations.
Entrance Examinations
Admission to the PhD program requires:
1. Unified Entrance Exam (UEE) Consists of two parts: a foreign language of the applicant’s choice (English, German, French, or Spanish) and a General Academic Competence Test. Minimum score: 150 points per section. UEE results from 2023 or 2024 are accepted for 2025 admission.
Registration: May 2 – May 23 Examination period: June 21 – July 12
2. Unified Entrance Test in Research Methodology Mandatory since 2025.
3. Specialty Entrance Examination Conducted at the Institute.
4. Motivation Letter and Research Proposal
5. Additional examinations (for applicants from a different field of knowledge)
