Admission Campaign 2026

The Institute of Telecommunications and Global Information Space of the NAS of Ukraine invites applications for the PhD program (Doctor of Philosophy) in the following specialties:

  • F1 — Applied Mathematics (field of knowledge F “Information Technologies”)
  • F3 — Computer Science (field of knowledge F “Information Technologies”)

Mode of Study: full-time, part-time

Duration: 4 years

Funding: full-time admission is exclusively through state order; part-time — through state order (if available) or self-funded

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification. Applicants from a different field of knowledge (specialty) than indicated in their diploma may be required to pass additional entrance examinations.

Entrance Examinations

Admission to the PhD program requires:

  1. Unified Entrance Exam (UEE) Consists of two parts: a foreign language of the applicant’s choice (English, German, French, or Spanish) and a General Academic Competence Test (GACT). Minimum score: 150 points per section. UEE results from 2024, 2025, or 2026 are accepted for 2026 admission.
  2. Unified Entrance Test (UET) in Research Methodology UET results from 2025 or 2026 are accepted for 2026 admission.

Registration for UEE and UET: April 23 – May 14 (until 6:00 PM). Examination period: July 14 – July 29, 2026.

  1. Specialty Entrance Examination Conducted at the Institute.
  2. Research Proposal
  3. Additional examinations (for applicants from a different field of knowledge)

Application Process

Application period: August 7 – August 25, 2026.

Specialty entrance examinations, additional entrance examinations in the form of exams, interviews, presentations of research proposals or achievements: August 26 – September 7, 2026.

Enrollment: by September 14, 2026.
